Peer educator program
Our Peer Health and Wellness Educators are IU Bloomington students who facilitate health promotion education and provide wellness resources to their peers to help promote a culture of health and well-being on campus. Peers work alongside health promotion professionals to gain experience in our many program topics and develop leadership skills.
There is a required 3-credit hour training course offered in the fall and spring semesters called SPH-H333 Peer Education and Advocacy that students must complete to become a peer educator. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
